According to floor plans and photos from the 60's and 70's, this space was originally the Buttrey's store. Scarpelli's Italian restaurant opened in the mid-1980's, later becoming Sheik's Garden Restaurant. Most recently it was known as the Sher-E-Punjab Indian restaurant.
