Meet the Beauty Center Staff!
This clipping from the 1960s was found taped to the inside of one of
the cupboards in the back room.
Beauty Operator #2, "Judy", was still employed at the Beauty Center
when it closed in 2004. Click on the photo for a larger version.
The original "Beauty Stations", virtually unchanged since the '60's.
In the old days each station had a different colored light above it,
which shone beautifully through the tinted glass:
Dig the space-age ash trays.
Smoking is always a good idea when your hair is full of highly
flammable chemicals!
