The once stunning lower lobby still hints at its former greatness, with fireplace intact. For me, this part of the theatre resembles most what Apache Plaza looked like at the time: ultra-modern and very groovy.

This area below the stairs is where my brother and I would always wait for our mom while she was in the ladies' room. Very much like a cubby hole under the stairway, this was a fun place to play.

The ever elusive hallway to the ladies' room. It actually isn't much of a hallway at all. (Click on the photo to enter the ladies room.)

The door to the mens' room. Not too exciting, unless you've just ingested 32 ounces of Pepsi. (Click on the door to enter!)

Drinking fountain, next to the mens' room.

I'm sure these benches are from the 1960's, or at least the early 70's.

A nice close-up of the deer above the fireplace. I believe that this has been here since the theatre opened in 1969.

This is where we used to call mom once the movie was finished. The pay phone is now missing - has anyone seen it?? I need to call my mom!!!

To the theatres...
